Start Dates
German institutions offer two main intakes a year- Winter & Summer.
German universities have only two intakes in the year: Summer intake for the summer semester running from March to August or April to September; deadlines usually fall before January.Students are encouraged to start their application process earliest possible.
Working in Germany
International students are allowed to work part time while they study in Germany.
You can work up to 20 hours per week while studying. If you exceed this, you’ll be required to pay into the German social security system, and there could be a negative impact on your studies. Non-EU/EEA students are also able to work in Germany alongside their studies, for 120 full days or 240 half days per year.
Language Requirements
An English test such as IELTS/TOEFL may be required. This depends on your course of study and/or your institution.
